Chandauli News: In Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh, the courage of the miscreants has increased to such an extent that they shot a railway employee returning from duty and fled. After the incident, the injured railway employee fell on the road and started writhing in pain. With the help of police, he was taken to the hospital.

Late on Wednesday night, three miscreants on a bike shot the station master posted at Jeevanathpur near Hamidpur in Industrial Town under Mughalsarai police station of Chandauli. The bullet hit his waist. Due to which the station master got seriously injured. After the incident, the miscreants fled from the spot. After getting information from the nearby people, the police sent the injured to the trauma center and started investigation. As soon as the information was received, ASP Vinay Singh, CO Ashutosh and Inspector Vijay Bahadur Singh reached the spot and took information about the incident.

Virendra Verma (58), a native of Ghazipur, is posted as station master in Jeevanathpur. He was going to his residence after his duty ended late on Wednesday night. Three miscreants on a bike who were already waiting in ambush near Hamidpur in Industrial Nagar area shot the station master.
The railway workers fell on the ground and started writhing. Hearing the gunshot, the people gathered there informed the police. The police took the station master to a private hospital from where the doctors referred him to the trauma centre. Senior officials of the department also reached the spot. In this regard, ASP Vinay Singh said that the station master is undergoing treatment. The miscreants are being searched for.
